Transforming Children’s Services with Permanent Futures

The Every Child Matters agenda green paper published by the government in 2003 sought to transform the way children’s services are delivered in the wake of the Victoria Cimbe case – where a young girl was killed following abuse from her great aunt.

The agenda – concerned with the well-being of all children and young people from birth to 19 seeks to ensure that all our children have the support required to:

• Be healthy
• Stay safe
• Enjoy and achieve
• Make a positive contribution
• Achieve economic well-being

Permanent Futures are providing specialist interim resources to local authorities; PCT’s, Schools and the voluntary sector to make sure our services are integrated through information sharing and multiagency working. Permanent Futures also have extensive experience in recruiting for children’s services case management system projects for local authorities across the country.
